10b5-1(c) Trading Plan Announcement – Website Distribution Only

On February 26, 2010, Todd C. Schermerhorn, the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, entered into a 10b5-1 trading plan for up to 145,673 shares, consisting of 132,500 shares of Bard common stock underlying options and 13,173 shares of common stock, which may be sold at various specified price and share limits.   The trading plan begins June 1, 2010 and will remain in place until all shares are sold or until August 20, 2010, whichever occurs first.
